In which it's beginning to look a lot like the holidays.
It's finally starting to feel a little more like the holidays around here! To kick off what we hope will be a fun and joy-filled holiday season at the shop, we'll be open this Sunday for downtown Thomasville's annual open house! Several of our fellow downtown businesses and restaurants will be open, too, and we've got plenty of festivities planned to make it worth your while!
Saturday night, my family's coming into town to deck the halls at the shop, so you'll be able to shop all of our holiday goodies -- including books, ornaments, decorations, and greeting cards -- on Sunday. Lindsay Hopkins, my friend and artist from Albany, Ga., will be hosting a pop-up shop filled with her beautifully-designed goodies (including new, screen-printed dishtowels and holiday cards), and local author Sallie Powell will be signing copies of her gluten-free cookbook (complete with a little taste testing, too).
What I'm saying is: If you haven't been to see us in a while, Sunday would be the perfect day to pay us a visit.
